Call for Nomination of 2013 EASTS Outstanding Transportation Project Award (OTPA) (PDF)


Objective
To foster and support excellence in transportation project in Eastern Asian region.

Project is classified into two categories: (1) Construction Project is concerned with construction of transportation infrastructure; (2) Planning Project is related to transportation planning and feasibility study, transportation-related matters such as organization, achievement, business model, initiative, government reform, public consultation, etc. are also considered.

Criteria of Prize Selection
- Expected Social Impact
- Expected Transportation Impact
- Method/Technology of Project (Construction or Planning)
- Financing and Management
- Uniqueness

Based on these criteria, one OTPA project is selected by OTPA committee's selection and the approval of the board.

Publication
All your Projects will be included in the Book published from EASTS. EASTS started considering to publish a book, such as "Great Connections: Outstanding Transportation Projects in Eastern Asia in 1994-2010", so as to record our projects and let them to be known to everybody in the world. Not only awarded project but  ALL your projects which is nominated to OTPA will be automatically included in this book. The submitted documents and pictures will be edited by EASTS.
