Dear EASTS Regular Members;
We regret to inform all of you that Professor Yordphol Tanaboriboon of
Asian Institute of Technology, our 1st vice-president, and the former president
of Thai Society for Transportation and Traffic Studies, unexpectedly has
passed away while taking his business trip in Sweden on 4 June 2006.
We are deeply shocked and saddened to hear of this sorrowful news.
Professor Tanaboriboon has contributed to EASTS so actively and supported
its organization so strongly as the Board member. We also recognized with
gratitude his leadership as the chair of the Conference Committee in the
last EASTS International Conference at Bangkok.

The EASTS expresses its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Professor
Tanaboriboon's family, Asian Institute of Technology and Thai Society for
Transportation and Traffic Studies.
