Papers for Asian Transport Studies will be selected from academic and practical papers that are submitted to EASTS Conference and are evaluated to contribute excellently in one or more of the following areas*.
- Enlightening Asia-specific topics
- Discovering interesting facts
- Technological innovation
- Institutional innovation
- Theoretical development
- Methodological development
- Best application in practices
- Difficult research accumulations
* Papers for the first volume of Asian Transport Studies were selected from the 8th EASTS Conference held in Surabaya, Indonesia, on November 16-19, 2009. Rate of acceptance was about 5%.
The ATS journal will be published biannually. The standard publishing months will be March and September of each year following the EASTS conference, which is held every two years. Selected papers will be published in one of the four issues over two years. Authors of selected papers will be informed of the acceptance of their papers for publication, on or before the March following the EASTS Conference. Any changes in the scheduled timings will be announced in advance. Before publication, English editing services will be provided to each paper for free.
